Orthodontic treatment can improve the position of your teeth. It is a common treatment to correct crowded, misaligned, or spaced teeth. Orthodontic treatment can also improve your bite and jaw position, widen your airway, or improve the prognosis of other dental treatments.

HOW ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT WORKS

Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, the bone holding the teeth remodels and gradually the teeth move to the proper position.

CLEAR ALIGNERS

If you’d like to improve your smile by straightening your teeth, we have a few different options for you. Dr. Momany can straighten your teeth in a near-invisible manner with our Six Month Smiles clear aligner system, (similar to Invisalign). We focus on the teeth that show the most, allowing you to achieve a beautiful smile in an average treatment time of 10 months.

CLEAR BRACES

Traditional braces have been shown to be the most conservative and predictable way to achieve a great smile, but many people aren’t thrilled with the thought of having a mouth full of metal. With Six Month Smiles, you’ll still get the great results of braces, but Six Month Smiles Lucid-Lok® clear brackets and Chameleon™ tooth-colored wires are barely visible, so you can feel free to smile with confidence while your teeth are being straightened. Plus, the average treatment time is only six months!

Most adults ARE candidates, but only your dentist will be able to decide if Six Month Smiles is right for your specific needs.
